Bourdain’s trajectory from up-and-coming New York chef, fall into bankruptcy and drug addiction, and then his unlikely rebound to international stardom was truly extraordinary. Then, at the peak of his fame and fortune, he ends his own life – to the shock of those around him. On the occasion of the release a new biography on his life in early October, we replay this episode where Maureen helps to unravel the demons that haunted and motivated this remarkable man.
